Annual Registration Fee

An Annual Registration Fee of $60.00 is required to use the referral service (that is only $5/month!). The registration is renewed at $50.00 when done so during the anniversary month.

Referral Fee

The referral fee is $10.00 for each time a sitter is requested, confirmed, and booked more than 48 hours (2 days) in advance.  For example, if you requested and had a sitter on the 1st and 25th of the month, you would be billed $20.00.

Any requests coming in with less than 48 hours notice are considered “Short-Notice Requests” and are subject to higher fees. For all requests coming in with 48 hours notice or less, the referral fee will increase to $15. For all requests coming in with 24 hours notice or less the fee is $20.

Requests made with fewer than 5 days’ notice are sometimes difficult to fill. We do not, however, discourage last-minute requests. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request, but we are unable to make guarantees with any sitter requests.

The annual and referral fees cover the time it takes to locate an available sitter; the time spent searching our sitter profiles to find the sitter that is most suitable for your family; the time spent recruiting qualified sitters, reviewing sitter applications and the interview process. Referral fees are billed to you at the end of the month via email for services rendered. Payment is due on the 15th of the month for the previous month’s services. A $10.00 late fee will be charged if your payment is not received by the 15th of the month.

Families are responsible for paying sitters their hourly rate directly, upon completion of sitting job. There is a three (3) hour minimum for all regular sitting jobs and a two (2) hour minimum for short-notice sitting jobs. Families do not have to use the two/three full hours, but the sitters may still charge for two/three hours of pay.

Averate Rates for ASAP Sitters

1 Child -      $12-15/hr

2 Children - $13-17/hr

3 Children - $16-19/hr

4 Children - $18-22/hr

5 Children - $20-25/hr

Weekends

Requests that come in at 5pm or later on Friday for Saturday or Sunday will be considered 24 hour Short-notice Referrals.

Cancellations

If you cancel your sitter with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged a referral fee (expect in cases of emergency). If you have a Package, the cancellation will count as a used referral.

Referral Fee Packages

If you know you’ll need sitters on a regular basis for non-short notice referrals, consider one of our referral packages.

BABY BEE PACKAGE: Five referrals for $45.00

HONEY BEE PACKAGE: Fifteen referrals for $130.00

BUMBLEBEE PACKAGE: Twenty-five referrals for $215.00

Purchasing a package enables you to buy referrals at a discounted rate. Our database keeps track of the number of referrals you’ve used.  You will be notified by email when your referral package is running low. Referral fee packages have no expiration date. As with any request, there is no guarantee that the request can be filled.  These packages are pre-pay only.

Overnight Referrals

ASAP Sitters, LLC can also refer sitters for overnights and extended stays whether it is at your home or on vacation with you. The sitter’s rate for extended stays and vacations is to be negotiated between the client/family and the sitter. Our referral fee for overnight stays (past 1:00 AM) is $15. Please call our office for placement fees for our rates on vacation sitters and extended stays.

Hotel, Event, and One-Time Referrals

Referrals for one-time services for 1 sitter are $25.00 for the first day and $10 per day on any consecutive days. Referrals for one-time services with less than 24-hours notice are $35.00 ($45.00 for Holidays). A registration fee is not charged. For events requiring more than one sitter, please contact our office for pricing.

Short & Long Term Placements

Short-term placements are considered any requests for a sitter on an ongoing basis 5 days/week for less than 4 weeks. The Short-term Placement Fee s $40/week.

Long-term placements are considered any requests for a sitter on an ongoing basis for more than 1 day/week for 4 weeks or more, up to 3 months. The Long-term Placement fee is based on the number of days/week you will need the sitter per 3 month block.

2 days/week = $100 per 3 months
3 days/week = $150 per 3 months
4 days/ week = $200 per 3 months
5 days/week = $250 per 3 months

Holidays

We classify the following days as holidays and sitters may charge a higher hourly rate for the following days:

  • Presidents Day
  • Easter
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Halloween
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve

NOTE: Holiday referral fee is $20 per request/referral.
